 1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

 2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

 3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

 4And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

 5And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

 6But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

 7For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

 8For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

 9And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

 10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

 11For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. (Isaiah 61, King James Version)
 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Revelation 21:2, King James Version)

LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN

A thick cloud of darkness so dense it could be felt hung heavily in the air...suddenly, a deep rumbling echoed from somewhere in the distance. A blinding ray of light pierced the darkness as the first bolt of lightning cut through the darkness. Savage winds blew aside the heavy veil of darkness that permeated everything. Higher and higher, the darkness lifted...while below; something new was being born. What was this strangeness that was coming to be? A spectacular demonstration of creative power, but there was no one to see it...at least, no one that could be seen. God watched as the Light he has just spoken into being spread further and deeper into the atmosphere...Good, it was very good.

* * *

Angels stood awestruck, silenced by the intensity that shone in the face of God. God eagerly stepped into the darkness, dispelling the darkness by the very presence of Himself! Explosions of light bombarded the darkness with overwhelming force. The face of God beamed into the darkness, the light of inspiration transforming the nothingness that had always been. Satisfaction filled every part of His being at the change that took place in response to His voice. Word watched as the dark separated itself from the light. Anticipation swelled within His breast...soon, very soon. His journey would begin. Connie Walcott (c) 1993-2008 All rights reserved.

In The Beginning

The Grace of God In Action

Jesus hand selected a group of 12 men who would become friends and comrades under his tutelage. During the time he spent with them, he taught them to love one another, love themselves, and take that message to the known world at that time. That was no small task, because the lives and lifestyles of the men Jesus chose were completely antagonistic toward one another. The transformation of that group of men took some time, but the change was complete and everlasting. My life has undergone that same type of radical transformation. I am learning confidence because the Bible helps me to uncover strength and hope in Christ. I am blessed, because I can now articulate the reason for my encouragement, and it's so much more than just two fistfuls of hope. I have found tangible relief for my broken heart and weary body. I found relief and hope in the arms of the Great Physician, and I know that the door to his office is always open. I spent many years engaged in a battle between religion and psychiatry, but in the end; I found the manifold wisdom of God that is hidden in both. My world is changed forever, and it's all because of the man called Jesus.

Kingdom 9-1-1... This is Clara,

What's YOUR Emergency?

Voice of Evanglism

In the world of the broken hearted, pain and panic comes from the fact that

WE DON'T BELIEVE

that God really, truly loves us. It's easier to believe that he's angry and that we really are the bad children that someone once told us we were...

THE GOOD NEWS IS... THEY WERE WRONG!
